Track Name: Ride a Roan Steed
Ride a roan steed, across the times
The violet castle appears in the sky
I return to my old dreams
Before my eyes the lake opens it´s mouth
With catfishes as a guide
I proceed to the lap
All these years were like
sand in my veins
But the yearning is not gone!
Nothing ever changed inside
I know these places, never left them for real
This was never true
I was there with you.
Across the laburnum orchards, the evening swallows us
Recollect the moment. Orange skyline. orange glass.
A dense, redlit forest full of toadstools,
a throne in the swamps, surrounded by frogs.
It´s november and i feel the pain.
Remember the olden days!
Track Name: The Violet Castle in the Sky
Enter the castle, seventeen chambers, three doorways
See their hair to the ground
A thorn-pregnant well
Underground room with musk scented furs
Hither and thither, ashore they dance
with gossamer masks
For several nights the earth is open and pulsating
The lurkers sit frozen in stillness
Who will dare to walk the stairway
When all of the years are now gone
(First we met in the waters.)
Upon the hill there sits a bearded man
holding a yellow two-headed serpent in his hands
I pick up tiny bones and insert them
inside a leather sac full of spells Urine and hay - smell of their
presence.
These stone altars with truculent faces
voices echo among them and reveal me
the riddles of time
